Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Position Objective:

The Quality Assurance Specialist is responsible for ensuring that SPPC s internal processes, systems, and outputs comply with applicable quality standards, regulatory requirements, and company policies. The role supports operational excellence by monitoring performance, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing quality control measures across various departments.


Job Description & Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement, and maintain quality assurance policies, procedures, and standards aligned with SPPC s goals and regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct regular audits and inspections of internal processes and project deliverables to assess compliance and performance.
  • Monitor, track, and report non-conformities, working with relevant teams to develop corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure quality is integrated into all phases of project lifecycle and service delivery.
  • Analyze quality data, KPIs, and performance metrics to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for continuous improvement.
  • Lead or support root cause analysis of quality issues and provide recommendations to improve efficiency, accuracy, and consistency.
  • Facilitate internal and external audits, including ISO or regulatory assessments, and ensure timely closure of findings.
  • Provide training and guidance to staff on quality standards, tools, and best practices.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation for QA activities, reports, and quality records in compliance with company standards.


Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor s degree in Engineering, Quality Management, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of relevant quality assurance or quality control experience, preferably in the energy, utilities, or infrastructure sectors.
  • Familiarity with ISO 9001:2015 quality standards and other applicable regulatory frameworks.
  • Experience with auditing techniques, quality tools (e.g., Six Sigma, 5 Whys, Pareto Analysis), and risk management.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills.
  • Proficient in using quality management systems (QMS), Microsoft Office Suite, and data analysis tools.
  • Excellent communication skills in English; Arabic is an advantage.
  • Certification in quality management (e.g., CQE, ISO Lead Auditor) is a plus.
