Quality Assurance Technical Manager

Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Quality Assurance Technical Manager to join our Drupal-based web development company. In this role, you will ensure the delivery of high-quality digital solutions by leading QA efforts, developing and implementing QA processes, and conducting hands-on automation and manual testing. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to maintain and enhance the quality of our web applications.

Responsibilities:

Quality Assurance Strategy:

• Develop and implement a comprehensive quality assurance strategy for web development projects.
• Collaborate with project managers and development teams to integrate quality assurance processes into the project life cycle.

Test Planning and Execution:

• Create detailed test plans outlining test cases, test scripts, and acceptance criteria.
• Conduct thorough testing of web applications, including functional, regression, performance, security, and automation testing.
• Identify and report defects and work closely with development teams to ensure timely resolution.

Process Improvement:

• Continuously evaluate and enhance QA processes to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
• Implement industry best practices for quality assurance and stay updated on emerging trends and technologies.

Team Collaboration:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, project managers, and designers, to ensure a unified approach to quality assurance.
• Provide training and guidance to team members on quality assurance processes and best practices.

Documentation:

• Maintain detailed documentation of test cases, test results, and quality assurance processes.
• Prepare and present regular reports on the status of quality assurance activities to project stakeholders.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Quality Assurance Manager in a web development environment, with a focus on Drupal-based technology.
• Hands-on experience in automated testing and testing frameworks is required.
• Strong knowledge of QA methodologies, tools, and best practices.
• Solid understanding of web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Master's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Relevant certifications in quality assurance and testing.
• Experience with continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines.
• Familiarity with agile development methodologies.
• Knowledge of Drupal theming and module development.
• Previous experience in leading and managing a QA team.
