Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Position: Quality Control (QC) Engineer
Duties & Key Responsibilities
- Ensure all incoming materials, in-process items, and finished products meet company and regulatory quality standards.
- Develop and implement inspection processes for hardware, building materials, construction items, and machine tools.
- Conduct regular inspections and tests throughout the manufacturing and trading process; document and report findings.
- Identify root causes of quality issues and support process improvement initiatives.
- Interface with suppliers and vendors; perform quality audits and assess vendor compliance with standards.
- Investigate and resolve customer complaints related to product quality; implement corrective and preventive actions.
- Maintain and update quality documentation, reports, and statistical data records.
- Train production and warehouse teams on quality control protocols and standards.
- Ensure products comply with Middle East (GCC) standards and relevant international regulations.
- Support the implementation and maintenance of ISO and other quality assurance standards.
Desired Candidate Profile
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- 3+ years’ experience as a QC Engineer or in a similar quality-focused role, preferably within trading and manufacturing sectors.
- Strong technical knowledge of hardware, building materials, construction products, and machine tools is preferred.
- Experience in developing and implementing quality control systems and procedures.
- Familiarity with GCC/Middle East quality and safety standards.
- Certification in ISO 9001 or similar quality management systems is a plus.
