Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Responsibilities:
  • Review and validate AI-assisted test cases and scenarios automatically created in Jira from business requirements.
  • Ensure test coverage completeness, accuracy, and logical consistency before execution.
  • Review and enhance AI-assisted Cypress scripts, maintaining best coding and testing practices.
  • Execute and monitor Cypress test runs, and analyze results.
  • Report, document, and track issues in Jira with full traceability to business requirements.
  • Design, implement, and execute manual and automated test cases when needed to extend AI coverage.
  • Participate in requirement and design reviews to identify early testing opportunities and risks.
  • Validate bug fixes and ensure stability through regression and sanity testing cycles.
  • Collaborate closely with developers, product owners, and QA peers to refine both human and AI-driven testing processes.
  • Continuously explore and adopt emerging QA tools, frameworks, and AI testing enhancements.

Desired Candidate Profile

Job Qualifications:
  • 2 4 years of hands-on experience in software testing (manual + automation).
  • Proficiency in Cypress and JavaScript.
  • Strong experience using Jira.
  • Familiarity with AI-assisted testing or intelligent QA tools (Cursor Agent is a plus).
  • Experience with API testing tools (Postman, Swagger) and writing automated API tests.
  • Experience testing web-based and responsive applications.
  • Knowledge of CI/CD integration for automated test execution.
