Quality Control Fountain Chemist Coca Cola - Al Ahlia Beverages

Job Purpose:

• Monitor dispensed beverage quality in outlets serving fountain/post mix products meeting the requirement of the company requirements by conducting Hygiene and Product Quality survey and report the Quality Index.

• Dispensing Outlet Hygiene Monitoring, and hygienic measures for fountain outlets.

• Market Place monitoring of the products as per the Production Process and Marketplace Monitoring and Control Guideline provided by the company.

• This job required 70% time need to be spend at the market place and 30% for Lab analysis/ Report preparation. Geographical scope may be UAE

  
  

  Prioritized Responsibilities

  
  

• Conducting Quality and Hygiene audit at the fountain outlets as per the schedule.

• Monitor beverage dispensing systems to ensure correct syrup-to-water ratios and carbonation levels

• Perform routine chemical and physical tests such as Brix, CO₂ volume, pH, acidity, and sensory evaluation

• Verify calibration and performance of dispensing equipment and analysers.

• Inspect syrup preparation, storage, and handling processes.

• Verify the sanitation for the Dispensers and get done the effective evaluation (Micro Analysis- Necessary sample collection and evaluation with the help of third-party analysis report)

• Ensure compliance with HACCP, GMP, and food safety standards

• Identify deviations in product quality and initiate corrective actions

• Maintain accurate test records, logs, and quality reports

• Support Support Cooler department teams in troubleshooting dispensing and quality issues

• Conduct sanitation and hygiene checks on dispensing lines and equipment

• Assist in audits, internal inspections, and regulatory compliance activities

• The Marketplace Quality Monitoring - responsible for monitoring the quality, safety, and compliance of beverage products available in the marketplace. The role ensures that products distributed through retail outlets, wholesalers, and food service channels meet company standards, regulatory requirements, and brand specifications
  
  

  Accountabilities / Responsibilities

  
  

  1. Responsible for conducting and reviewing all monitoring / testing activities and prepare the Hygiene and Quality report for each outlets as per KORE requirements.

  2. Support in Consumer response program by attending market complaints on Product/ Package quality.

  3. Collect beverage samples from the marketplace for routine and investigative testing

  4. Conduct laboratory analysis including Brix, pH, acidity, carbonation, preservatives, and sensory evaluation

  5. Verify compliance with local and international food safety regulations

  6. Monitor product shelf life, packaging integrity, and labeling accuracy

  7. Investigate consumer complaints and market quality deviations

  8. Identify counterfeit, adulterated, or substandard beverage products

  9. Prepare quality reports, trend analysis, and corrective action recommendations

  10. Coordinate with production, supply chain, and regulatory teams on quality issues

  11. Support product recalls and corrective actions when required

  12. Assist during regulatory inspections and third-party audits

  13. Be a responsible citizen of the world and treat your subordinates fair and square.

  14. Be flexible in your job function and perform any other reasonable duties and responsibilities which may be assigned to you, including external audits to other department/areas if required, to meet the business demands.
