1. Process Procedure Development & Control

Develop, implement, and monitor Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for:

A. Galvanizing

• Surface preparation requirements (degreasing, pickling, fluxing)

• Bath temperature monitoring and zinc composition control

• Immersion time calculation

• Coating thickness verification

• Post-galvanizing inspection and handling procedures

• Compliance with ASTM / ISO galvanizing standards

B. Painting

• Surface preparation standards (Sa 2.5 / SSPC)

• Primer and topcoat application procedures

• DFT measurement control

• Environmental condition monitoring (humidity, temperature, dew point)

• Coating inspection and curing verification

C. Welding

• WPS (Welding Procedure Specification) preparation

• Welder qualification records

• Material traceability

• Preheat / interpass temperature control

• Visual inspection and NDT coordination

• Compliance with AWS / ISO welding standards

D. Fabrication

• Material receiving inspection

• Cutting, drilling, forming, and assembly controls

• Dimensional inspection

• Fit-up verification

• Tolerance control

• Drawing revision compliance

E. Sandblasting

• Surface cleanliness grading

• Profile measurement

• Abrasive material control

• Equipment calibration

• Environmental containment procedures

2. Documentation Control & Development

• Develop and maintain document control system

• Ensure proper revision tracking and document numbering

• Maintain master list of procedures and quality documents

• Control distribution of approved drawings and specifications

• Archive and protect controlled documents

• Ensure only latest revisions are used in production

3. Inspection Test Plan (ITP) Development

• Prepare project-specific ITPs

• Define Hold Points (HP), Witness Points (WP), and Surveillance Points

• Coordinate inspections with clients and third-party inspectors

• Maintain inspection records and reports

• Ensure traceability from raw material to final delivery

4. Factory Acceptance Test (FAT) Documentation

• Prepare FAT checklists and testing procedures

• Coordinate client inspections during FAT

• Document test results and compliance status

• Compile FAT dossiers for client approval

• Close non-conformities before shipment

5. ISO Documentation & Compliance

• Maintain ISO 9001 documentation

• Participate in internal audits

• Support external certification audits

• Prepare Quality Manual updates

• Monitor corrective and preventive actions (CAPA)

• Ensure continuous improvement initiatives

6. Quality Assurance & Continuous Improvement

• Investigate non-conformities

• Conduct root cause analysis

• Implement corrective actions

• Monitor process KPIs

• Recommend process optimization

• Support training for production staff on quality standards
