Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

DUTIES:

  • Inspect part dimensions against company standards and approve or recommend changes via the QC Checklist.
  • Supervise CMM machine operation and operate it when necessary.
  • Ensure dimensional records are saved to the server and linked to the correct job.
  • Check mold accessories such as hot runners, thermal controllers, and other components.
  • Perform routine machine inspections across departments.
  • Oversee monthly calibration of all measuring tools and coordinate annual CMM calibration with external providers.
  • Ensure maintenance software is used effectively and procedures are documented.
  • Maintain and update engineering processes for both Copar and Zaylo.
  • Archive and verify supporting quality documentation such as heat treatment reports and spare parts lists.
  • Attend design and system meetings to provide feedback on quality and part feasibility.
  • Request design or process modifications as needed to improve quality or prevent defects.
  • Lead initiatives for improving measurement accuracy, traceability, and defect prevention.
  • Collect the records from all concerned employees to create an archive for each manufactured mold part, documenting all production details and records for future reference.

Desired Candidate Profile

Degree: Industrial or Mechanical engineering degree.

Language: Good command of English both spoken and written.

Experience: 5-7 years of experience in quality control manufacturing industry.

Technical Knowledge: Technical knowledge in manufacturing processes, machinery, mold manufacturing and knowledge in CAD/CAM tools.
