Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  1. Implement and monitor QA/QC procedures for civil works as per ADNOC and project specifications

  2. Conduct inspections, material verification, and testing for:

    • Concrete works

    • Reinforcement (rebar)

    • Earthworks

    • Structural elements

  3. Review and approve:

    • Method Statements

    • Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs)

    • QA/QC documentation from subcontractors

  4. Coordinate with site engineers and construction teams for:

    • NCR closure

    • RFIs

    • Punch list clearance

  5. Maintain accurate records of inspections, test results, and quality audits for client and consultant review

  6. Liaise with ADNOC representatives and third‑party inspectors to ensure compliance and approvals

  7. Support pre‑commissioning and handover documentation for civil scope

  8. Ensure strict adherence to HSE requirements during inspections and site activities

  9. Participate in internal audits and continuous improvement initiatives

  10. Train junior QC staff and site supervisors on quality standards and reporting procedures

Desired Candidate Profile

  1. Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering

  2. ADNOC‑approved QA/QC Civil Officer (Approval certificate / number required)

  3. 5 – 6 years of experience in civil QA/QC within:

    • EPC projects

    • Oil & Gas construction

  4. Strong experience in:

    • Onshore oil & gas civil infrastructure

    • Foundations, roads, and structural concrete

  5. Sound knowledge of:

    • ADNOC standards

    • UAE construction codes

    • ASTM standards

    • ISO 9001 quality systems


Key Skills


  • Civil construction inspection and testing procedures

  • QA/QC documentation (ITPs, checklists, method statements)

  • Engineering drawing and specification interpretation

  • NCR management and quality reporting

  • Coordination with multidisciplinary project teams

  • Quality management software and reporting tools


Preferred Candidate Profile


  • Prior ADNOC project experience in Abu Dhabi or GCC

  • ISO 9001:2015 certification

  • Exposure to KPI‑based quality performance monitoring

  • Fluency in English (Arabic is an advantage)
