Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities


  • Perform inspection and measurement of cable insulation thickness, sheath thickness, and conductor diameter using micrometers, profile projectors, and calipers.
  • Conduct all IEC standard tests for wires and cables, including:
  • Spark test
  • Insulation resistance test (megger)
  • Tensile and elongation test of insulation and sheath
  • Hot set/thermal stability test
  • High voltage withstand test
  • Thickness of insulation and sheath inspections
  • All production inspections
  • Diameter of insulation and sheath inspections
  • Data Entry of All production and other needed
  • Ensure in-process and final inspection of flexible, wires, and power cables.
  • Maintain accurate quality control records: test reports, ITP checklists, NCR reports.
  • Verify the calibration of all QC lab equipment.
  • Coordinate with the production team to correct quality deviations.
  • Support ISO 9001 audits and ensure full compliance with quality management systems.
  • Work in another factory work

Desired Candidate Profile

- Diploma or Engineering /ITI in Electrical Engineering or related field.

- ISO 9001 certificate.

- Minimum 2–5 years of experience in a cable and wire manufacturing factory.

- Strong hands-on experience using micrometers, profile projectors, megohmmeters, spark testers, tensile machines, and ovens.

- Knowledge of IEC standards of wires and cables and standard quality testing procedures.

- Must be able to read and interpret technical drawings and QC specifications.

- Basic English communication skills (for report writing and team coordination).

- Indian nationality preferred; Gulf experience is a plus.
