Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

The Quality Director will oversee the quality assurance (QA) and quality control (QC) departments, ensuring that all products comply with internal standards, Jordanian regulations, and international safety standards (e.g., ISO, HACCP).

Key Responsibilities

  • Quality System Management: Develop, implement, and maintain quality management systems (QMS) and Food Safety Management Systems (FSMS).
  • Regulatory Compliance : Ensure compliance with Jordan Food and Drug Administration (JFDA) standards.
  • Audit Management: Lead internal and external audits, including compliance inspections for food manufacturing and distribution.
  • Production Monitoring : Monitor production processes to ensure adherence to quality protocols.
  • Supplier Quality : Assess and monitor the quality of raw materials from suppliers.
  • Training & Leadership : Lead and train the quality team, promoting a culture of quality throughout the company.

Desired Candidate Profile

Education : Bachelor s degree in Food Science, Chemistry, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.

Experience: Significant experience (usually 10+ years) in a quality role within an FMCG or food manufacturing company, preferably in Jordan.

Certifications: Knowledge of ISO 22000, HACCP, or ISO 9001.
