Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement, and oversee comprehensive quality management systems to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Lead, mentor, and manage the quality assurance and quality control teams to foster a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
  • Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for quality, driving initiatives to enhance product reliability and safety.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including manufacturing, engineering, and supply chain to integrate quality best practices throughout the production lifecycle.
  • Conduct regular audits, inspections, and risk assessments to identify areas for improvement and ensure adherence to quality protocols.
  • Investigate and resolve quality issues, customer complaints, and non-conformities, implementing corrective and preventive actions as needed.
  • Maintain up-to-date documentation and records in accordance with regulatory and company requirements.
  • Drive training programs to enhance staff awareness and competency in quality standards and procedures.
  • Stay abreast of emerging trends, technologies, and regulations in medical apparel manufacturing to ensure ongoing compliance and competitiveness.
  • Report regularly to senior management on quality performance, challenges, and strategic initiatives.

Desired Candidate Profile

Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in quality management within a manufacturing environment, preferably in medical industries.

Proven track record of leading quality assurance and quality control teams at a managerial or director level.

In-depth knowledge of industry standards, regulatory requirements, and best practices in medical garment manufacturing.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to drive root cause analysis and implement effective solutions.

Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills to influence and collaborate across all organizational levels.

Demonstrated experience in developing and implementing quality management systems and continuous improvement initiatives.

Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

Proficiency in quality management software and tools.

Experience conducting internal and external audits.

Fluency in English; proficiency in Arabic is an asset.
