Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement and monitor quality assurance (QA) and quality control (QC) procedures during fabrication processes.
- Conduct and report inspections of raw materials, welds, and fabricated components.
- Review and approve welding procedure specifications (WPS) and welder qualifications.
- Ensure compliance with the latest drawing revisions and project specifications.
- Collaborate with production, welding, and engineering teams to resolve quality issues.
- Ensure all fabrication and welding activities comply with industry codes and standards (AWS, ASME, ISO).
- Verify that inspection tools and equipment are properly calibrated and maintained
Desired Candidate Profile
- B.Sc. in Mechanical or Metallurgical Engineering.
-Strong understanding of welding processes, inspection techniques, and relevant standards.
-Valid inspection and NDT test certificates are preferred.
