Quality Engineering Lead

1. Quality Automation and Engineering: Design, implement, and maintain robust test automation frameworks covering UI, API, integration, and regression testing. Ensure high test coverage across web, mobile, and backend services. Drive an automation-first testing strategy and reduce reliance on manual testing. Review and maintain test code to ensure quality, performance, and maintainability.

2. CI/CD and DevOps Integration: Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines as part of build, deployment, and release gates. Define quality gates and automated checks to prevent defects from reaching production. Collaborate with DevOps teams to optimize pipelines and improve reliability.

3. Leadership and Enablement: Lead, mentor, and coach Quality Engineers across multiple delivery teams. Define quality engineering standards, best practices, and reusable testing assets. Enable delivery teams to take ownership of quality as part of the development lifecycle.

4. Quality Governance and Metrics: Define and monitor quality KPIs such as test coverage, defect leakage, and automation effectiveness. Analyze defects and production incidents to identify root causes and systemic quality issues. Ensure adherence to enterprise quality, security, and regulatory standards.

5. Collaboration: Work closely with Product Owners, Architects, Developers, and Operations teams. Participate in solution design and architecture reviews to ensure testability and reliability. Support release readiness assessments and post-release quality reviews.
