Key Roles & Responsibilities

Quality Assurance

• Implement project-specific Quality Plan (PQP) and Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs) for all MEP works.
• Ensure compliance with ISO 9001 standards, client quality requirements, and Saudi regulatory codes.
• Conduct regular audits, surveillance, and quality walks on site to verify adherence to quality systems.
  

Quality Control (Site Execution)

• Inspect MEP installations (Electrical, HVAC, PHE/FF, ELV) as per approved drawings, method statements, and standards.
• Coordinate with site execution engineers for timely inspections and approvals.
• Ensure that only approved materials are used and that they are installed as per specifications.
• Witness and approve tests (e.g., IR testing, pressure tests, continuity checks, hydro tests, functional testing of MEP systems).
  

Testing & Commissioning Support

• Verify and document testing & commissioning protocols for all MEP systems.
• Coordinate with OEMs, subcontractors, and T&C teams to ensure compliance with client requirements.
• Ensure integrated system testing (IST) readiness of all MEP services prior to final commissioning.
  

Documentation & Reporting

• Prepare and maintain QA/QC logs, checklists, and quality records.
• Issue Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs), track corrective actions, and close out in coordination with project teams.
• Compile quality dossiers, test certificates, and handover documents for submission to the client/consultant.
• Support preparation of as-built drawings and O&M manuals from a quality perspective.
  

Coordination & Stakeholder Management

• Liaise with client/consultant for inspections, approvals, and quality-related correspondence.
• Coordinate with procurement to ensure vendor quality compliance.
• Work closely with HSE and Project Execution teams to align quality with safety and schedule.
  

Risk & Continuous Improvement

• Identify recurring quality issues and implement preventive measures.
• Train site engineers, supervisors, and technicians on quality standards and inspection processes.
• Capture lessons learned and feed into future project quality planning.
