Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Quality laboratory technician
Main responsibilities:
- Perform analyses on raw materials (physicochemical and/or microbiological)
- Control the quality of these materials at each stage of the production process (physicochemical and/or microbiological)
- Perform analyses of products during manufacturing (physicochemical and/or microbiological)
- Perform analyses of dry and wet finished products (physicochemical and/or microbiological)
- Prepare the necessary solutions for laboratory work
- Clean the equipment used and the workstation
- Clean, fine-tune, adjust and calibrate laboratory equipment
- Interpret and verify the conformity of the results
- Alerting the various stakeholders about the anomalies and non-conformities observed in order to remedy the noted deficiencies
- Record the results and write analysis reports
- Ensuring traceability: identification of prepared solutions, identification of samples for preservation, etc.
- Propose solutions in case of anomalies
- Participating in the development of new analytical methods
- Perform self-monitoring analyses according to group standards
- Ensure stability and reproducibility testing
- Record and compile test results, prepare reports.
- Analyze test results to classify products or compare them to predefined standards.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Studies:
- Senior technician in agri-food, biotechnology or equivalent
- Qualities:
- Analytical, methodical and rigorous mind
- Adaptability, good interpersonal skills, teamwork
- Good written and oral communication
- Skills:
- Knowledge of physicochemical and microbiological analyses
- Knowledge of Good Hygiene Practices (GHP): Respect for rules and risk management
- Experience:
Minimum 1 year in a similar position.
