Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Main responsibilities:
- Ensure the company's compliance with standards and regulations regarding quality, hygiene, safety and the environment
Missions and tasks:
- Ensure the obtaining and maintenance of certificates for the standards adopted by the company
- Ensure compliance with applicable normative and regulatory requirements regarding occupational health and safety (OHS).
- Develop and implement the company's QHSE policy
- Ensure the management of incidents and accidents and the monitoring of legal occupational health and safety records.
- Ensure the effective management of the internal audit process.
- To ensure an active interface between senior management and operational staff
- Provide periodic reports and updates to senior management on the implementation, performance and improvement of the existing system.
- To ensure and participate in the continuous improvement of the company's management systems
Know :
- Higher education ideally complemented by a specialization/Master's degree in QHSE
- Thorough knowledge of regulations related to quality, hygiene, safety and the environment in the workplace
- Mastery of quality standards and certifications
Expertise
- Two years of experience in a similar role is preferred.
- Having implemented or participated in an initial QMS/certification
- Knowledge of how the company operates and its sector of activity
- Thorough knowledge of emergency intervention techniques (firefighting, first aid, etc.)
- Excellent writing skills
- Excellent communication skills,
- Proficiency in computer tools
Interpersonal skills:
- Rigour, organisation and analytical skills.
- Pedagogy and communication skills.
- Team spirit and ability to persuade.
Desired Candidate Profile
