Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Develop, implement, and maintain quality management systems specific to wood products and manufacturing processes.
- Oversee and coordinate quality assurance activities across all wood-related projects to ensure compliance with industry standards and company policies.
- Lead root cause analysis and corrective action initiatives for quality issues related to wood materials and finished products.
- Conduct regular inspections and audits of wood production lines, ensuring adherence to safety and quality protocols.
- Collaborate with procurement and production teams to ensure raw materials meet required specifications and quality standards.
- Train and mentor staff on quality control procedures, best practices, and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Analyze quality data, prepare detailed reports, and present findings to senior management for strategic decision-making.
- Manage customer complaints and feedback related to wood products, ensuring timely resolution and process improvements.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality, reduce waste, and optimize operational efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant local and international regulations pertaining to wood manufacturing and construction.
Desired Candidate Profile
Minimum of 10 year of experience in quality management, preferably within the wood manufacturing or construction industry.
- Proven track record in implementing and maintaining quality management systems.
- Strong understanding of wood materials, production processes, and industry standards.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Demonstrated ability to lead teams and manage cross-functional projects.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills for collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
- Experience in conducting audits, inspections, and root cause analyses.
- Ability to work on-site (office-based) and adapt to a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Familiarity with safety regulations and best practices in wood manufacturing.
- Proficiency in using quality management software and reporting tools.
