Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Develop and implement quality management policies and procedures in accordance with regulatory requirements and accreditation standards.

  • Conduct regular audits and reviews of the hospital's clinical practices, policies, and procedures to identify areas for improvement.
  • Work with other hospital departments to develop and implement quality improvement initiatives, such as patient safety programs and infection control measures.
  • Analyze data and provide reports on quality metrics, such as patient satisfaction, readmission rates, and infection rates.
  • Collaborate with hospital leadership to develop and implement strategic plans for quality improvement.
  • Provide training and education to hospital staff on quality management and patient safety practices.
  • Serve as the hospital's liaison with regulatory agencies, accreditation bodies, and other external stakeholders on matters related to quality assurance.
  • Ensure that the hospital is in compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and accreditation standards related to quality assurance.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of quality management activities and outcomes.
  • Participate in hospital committees and workgroups related to quality management and patient safety.
  • Implements a performance management and improvement process that leads to a positive and measurable impact on the hospital s operations.
  • Manage a team of quality management staff, including Deputy, Supervisor, Specialists and Coordinators You will oversee their work and provide guidance and support as needed.
  • Convenes regular meetings, sets agendas, develops and analyzes performance improvement data for the council, designs and implements the necessary Quality Council processes and systems, develops and implements a hospital-wide communication plan.

Desired Candidate Profile

Bachelor's degree Medical, Dentistry or Pharmacy.

  • Certified professional in healthcare quality.
  • Certification in quality management or related field preferred.
  • Proven experience as quality manager
  • Conscientious and responsible
  • A keen eye for detail and a result driven approach
  • Outstanding communication skills
  • Excellent organizational and leadership skills
  • Proficient in MS Office
  • In depth understanding of quality control procedures and relevant legal standards
