Role & responsibilities

* Quality Management System (QMS) Development & Maintenance: Develop, implement, and maintain a comprehensive QMS that aligns with the regulations standards of Egypt country (e.g., GMP, cosmetic regulations). Ensure the QMS is effectively documented, communicated, and followed.

* Regulatory Compliance: Stay up-to-date on all relevant regulations and guidelines related to personal care products (e.g., FDA, EU regulations, etc.) and ensure compliance across all operations.

* Supplier Quality Management: Develop and manage a supplier quality program, including supplier audits, material inspections, and performance monitoring. Collaborate with procurement to select and qualify reliable suppliers.

* Manufacturing Quality Control: Oversee quality control activities throughout the manufacturing process, including raw material testing, in-process checks, and finished product testing. Ensure adherence to quality standards and specifications.

* Testing & Analysis: Manage the testing laboratory and ensure accurate and reliable testing of raw materials, intermediates, and finished products. Oversee the development and validation of test methods.

* Auditing: Conduct internal audits to assess the effectiveness of the QMS and identify areas for improvement. Participate in external audits conducted by regulatory agencies or customers.

* Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and develop the Quality Assurance team. Set clear goals and expectations, provide regular feedback, and foster a culture of quality consciousness.

* Continuous Improvement: Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the effectiveness of the QMS and improve product quality. Utilize data analysis and problem-solving techniques to identify and implement process improvements.

* Documentation & Reporting: Maintain accurate and up-to-date quality records and documentation. Prepare regular reports on quality performance and key metrics.

* Collaboration: Collaborate effectively with other departments, including R&D, manufacturing, marketing, and sales, to ensure product quality and customer satisfaction.

Preferred candidate profile

Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Biology, Microbiology, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.

minimum 15 years of experience in Quality Management

minimum 5 years of experience at Manager level
