Quality & Occupational Safety Manager

Role Summary
Lead, develop, and manage the Quality Control and Occupational Safety function to ensure the highest standards of quality, occupational safety, and regulatory compliance across all company operations.
The role is responsible for setting strategies, budgets, policies, and performance indicators, leading the team to minimize risks and enhance quality performance, control costs, and ensure continuous improvement in alignment with company objectives and manufacturer requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement strategies for Quality Control and Occupational Safety across the company.
Define departmental objectives, KPIs, and performance metrics aligned with company goals.
Prepare and manage the department s budget; monitor expenditures to ensure efficiency and cost control within approved limits.
Train, coach, and technically guide team members to enable effective performance of duties.
Review and approve policies and procedures proposed by team members.
Conduct periodic coordination meetings with Operations technical managers to review quality and safety observations and agree on preventive actions.
Review and approve work-related expenses and purchase requests.
Develop and update schedules for quality inspections and safety audits, adjusting plans based on operational changes.
Communicate and coordinate with manufacturers and attend periodic meetings related to quality and occupational safety matters.
Design and conduct customer satisfaction surveys related to installation quality and analyze survey results.
Monitor execution of assigned plans through periodic meetings and review of team reports.
Deliver targeted technical training based on deviation analysis and reported observations, in coordination with relevant managers, to reduce error rates.
Develop and enhance the SAISNI program related to quality inspections and observation management.
Follow up on technical improvements issued by Schindler and ensure proper closure with concerned departments.
Monitor and implement the Human Rights System introduced by Schindler, coordinate audits with the manufacturer, and manage compliance activities.
Perform any additional tasks assigned by direct management in line with business needs.

Qualifications
Education: Bachelor s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Mechatronics Engineering (or equivalent).
Experience: 5-7 years of Proven experience in elevator installation, project management, and elevator maintenance, with demonstrated capability in managing and leading technical teams effectively..
Software: AutoCAD, MS Excel, MS Word, MS Project
Language: Ability to read and understand English technical documents. technical documents. Proficiency in Arabic language is a must.
