Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Develop and implement quality assurance and quality control (QA/QC) plans for engineering projects.
Monitor engineering, procurement, and construction activities to ensure adherence to specifications, standards (e.g., ISO, ASME, ASTM), and client requirements.
Conduct inspections, audits, and site visits to verify compliance with design drawings, codes, and safety regulations.
Review engineering documents, materials, and technical submittals for compliance with project specifications.
Identify non-conformities, issue reports, and coordinate corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
Support project teams in applying risk management practices to minimize quality and safety issues.
Maintain project quality records, test results, and audit reports for compliance and future reference.
Liaise with contractors, consultants, and stakeholders to resolve quality-related concerns.
Provide training and guidance to project staff on quality standards and procedures.
Continuously monitor and recommend improvements in engineering project processes and methodologies.
Desired Candidate Profile
Master s degree in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or related field).
Professional certification in quality management (ISO 9001 Lead Auditor, Six Sigma, or CQE) is an advantage.
Proven experience in quality assurance/quality control within engineering, construction, or infrastructure projects.
Knowledge of international standards, building codes, and safety regulations.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
Excellent communication and coordination skills with multidisciplinary teams.
Proficiency in MS Office and project management/quality management software.
