Roles & Responsibilities

Strategic Contribution

  • Develop cost management approaches and contribute to effective budgeting and financial planning across projects.
  • Plan and structure contract administration activities to ensure alignment with contractual terms, internal standards, and project objectives.
  • Advise management and project teams on contractual risks, cost implications, variations, and compliance with OMRAN s Manual of Authoritie

Operational

  • Review cost estimates, cash flows, budgets, and financial reports for accuracy and alignment with project requirements.
  • Audit interim and final payment certificates, focusing on variations, completion milestones, penalties, retention release, and contractual compliance.
  • Evaluate claims, variations, and final accounts in accordance with contract conditions, OMRAN standards, and best practices.
  • Draft and issue contractual correspondence and coordinate with contractors, consultants, and stakeholders on disputed or ambiguous contractual matters.
  • Facilitate dispute resolution processes, including negotiations, settlement meetings, and recommendations for resolution.
  • Support initiatives promoting ICV and SMEs in line with national regulations while upholding cost and quality standards.
  • Process direct payment requests when applicable in accordance with approved procedures.
  • Cultivate effective working relationships with internal teams and external partners to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Provide expert guidance and technical support on complex QS related matters.
  • Promote knowledge sharing, continuous improvement, and best practice adoption across project teams.

Desired Candidate Profile

Responsibilities/strong>

em>Education & Experience/em>

  • Bachelor s degree in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline.
  • Professional membership (preferably RICS) or equivalent certification.
  • Minimum of 10 years experience in large scale development projects within the GCC.
  • Strong experience in post award contract administration and quantity surveying.
