Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Prepare detailed cost estimates, budgets, and bills of quantities for construction projects.
Monitor and control project expenditures to ensure alignment with approved budgets.
Evaluate and negotiate contracts, subcontracts, and variations with suppliers and contractors.
Conduct regular site visits to assess progress and verify quantities of materials and work completed.
Prepare interim and final payment applications and certifications for contractors and suppliers.
Analyze project risks and provide recommendations for cost-effective solutions.
Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and architects to ensure accurate cost forecasting.
Maintain comprehensive documentation of all quantity surveying activities and contractual correspondence.
Assist in the preparation and review of tender documents and procurement strategies.
Ensure compliance with industry standards, company policies, and legal regulations.
Desired Candidate Profile
Bachelor s degree in Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or a related field.
2 to 5 years of proven experience in quantity surveying within the construction industry.
Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and legal regulations.
Experience with contract administration and negotiation.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
Proficient in relevant software such as AutoCAD, MS Excel, and quantity surveying tools.
Ability to work effectively in an office-based environment with occasional site visits.
Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
