Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Coordinate with the Estimation and Design departments while studying the IFT Documents during the Tender phase (especially the tender drawings & Scope of Work)
  • Perform Quantity take-off for the Aluminum Works (i.e. Curtain Wall Cladding, Glazing, Doors, windows, etc.) all in accordance with the agreed method of measurement.
  • Perform internal BOQ based on the surveyed quantity from the tender documents especially for Lump Sum Projects and compare it with the Project s BOQ.
  • Update on regular (monthly) basis the Project s scope in terms of quantities whilst considering the ongoing variations that occurs during the course of the Project.
  • Issue monthly statements (Invoices) based on the actual progress on site and the material deliver thereon.
  • Analyze the Clients/Main Contractor s monthly Payment Certificate while reporting a comparison between the Certification and the Statement to check for any delayed and/or under-certification.
  • Monitor the elapsed duration between the submission date of monthly statement and the receipt date of the certification while comparing it with the contractual duration.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • 1-2 years with a minimum of 1 year experience in the field of Quantity Surveying
  • Quantity Surveying Courses is an advantage.
  • BSc Degree in Architecture Engineering
