Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- Assist in preparing detailed cost estimates and budgets for construction projects.
- Conduct research to gather information on materials, labor, and equipment costs.
- Support senior quantity surveyors in managing project contracts and negotiations.
- Monitor project expenses and identify cost-saving opportunities throughout the project lifecycle.
- Assist in preparing and submitting progress payment claims and final accounts.
- Analyze project performance and prepare reports on financial status for stakeholders.
- Collaborate with project managers, architects, and contractors to ensure project objectives are met.
- Bachelor's degree in quantity surveying, Civil/ architectural Engineering or a related field.
- Proficiency in relevant software, such as AutoCAD and Revit, is mandatory.
- Strong analytical skills with a good understanding of construction methods and materials.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel for financial analysis.
- Basic knowledge of construction contracts and relevant legislation.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, for stakeholder interaction.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage time effectively.
- Eagerness to learn and develop professionally within the construction industry.
Desired Candidate Profile
