Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Assist in preparing detailed cost estimates and budgets for construction projects.
  • Conduct research to gather information on materials, labor, and equipment costs.
  • Support senior quantity surveyors in managing project contracts and negotiations.
  • Monitor project expenses and identify cost-saving opportunities throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Assist in preparing and submitting progress payment claims and final accounts.
  • Analyze project performance and prepare reports on financial status for stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with project managers, architects, and contractors to ensure project objectives are met.
  • Bachelor's degree in quantity surveying, Civil/ architectural Engineering or a related field.
  • Proficiency in relevant software, such as AutoCAD and Revit, is mandatory.
  • Strong analytical skills with a good understanding of construction methods and materials.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel for financial analysis.
  • Basic knowledge of construction contracts and relevant legislation.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, for stakeholder interaction.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage time effectively.
  • Eagerness to learn and develop professionally within the construction industry.
