Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed cost estimates for construction projects, ensuring accuracy through meticulous analysis of drawings and specifications.
- Conduct feasibility studies to assess the viability of projects, providing clients with data-driven insights to inform decision-making.
- Manage and negotiate contracts with suppliers and subcontractors, ensuring favorable terms and compliance with project budgets.
- Monitor project expenditures and budgets, implementing cost control measures to prevent financial overruns.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related field, ensuring a strong foundational knowledge.
- Professional certification such as MRICS or SQS is highly desirable, demonstrating a commitment to industry standards.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in quantity surveying within the construction sector, showcasing proven expertise.
- Experience with both residential and commercial projects preferred, allowing for a versatile approach to various project types.
