Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Prepare and review BOQs, quantity take-offs, and cost estimates for fit-out and finishing works.
  • Assist in project budgeting, cost control, and cost forecasting throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Prepare contract awards, review contract documents, and evaluate contractors and subcontractors valuations.
  • Participate in the selection, comparison, and negotiation of subcontractors and suppliers.
  • Prepare technical and commercial comparison sheets for received offers.
  • Review, verify, and follow up on subcontractor invoices and client invoices.
  • Monitor project costs, variations, and claims, ensuring alignment with approved budgets.
  • Coordinate with site teams, consultants, and management regarding commercial and cost-related matters.
  • Prepare regular cost reports and commercial performance reports for senior management.

Desired Candidate Profile

BSc Degree in Engineering (Civil, Architectural, or Quantity Surveying).

  • 2+ years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor, preferably in fit-out / finishing projects.
  • Solid experience in quantity surveying, cost control, valuations, and invoicing.
  • Good knowledge of MS Office (especially Excel); AutoCAD knowledge is a plus, not mandatory.
  • Strong commercial awareness and understanding of contracts and subcontracting processes.
  • Good communication, coordination, and negotiation skills.
  • High attention to detail with strong organizational and ownership skills.
