Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates for civil engineering projects, including material, labor, and equipment costs, ensuring all aspects are considered.

  • Conduct thorough risk assessments, identifying potential cost overruns and delays, and developing mitigation strategies to keep projects on track.

  • Analyze tender documents, specifications, and drawings to understand project scope and requirements, providing valuable insights to the project team.

  • Manage and track project costs throughout the construction lifecycle, providing regular cost reports and forecasts to stakeholders.

  • Cost estimation, budgeting, and cost planning

  • Tendering, contract negotiation, and procurement

  • Cost control, cash flow monitoring, and reporting

  • Variations, claims, and change order management

  • Interim valuations, final accounts, and payments

  • Risk management and value engineering

  • Stakeholder coordination and subcontract management

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering

  • 5–7 years’ experience in a similar role (GCC experience preferred)

  • Strong commercial and contractual knowledge

  • Candidates currently in Oman preferred

  • Immediate or short notice availability
