Provide pre/post contract management quantity surveying services, Estimations based on BOQ rates, in oil and gas industry that include: Engineering, Construction, Operation & Maintenance Contracts.

Post / Pre-contract management activities will include but not be limited to the followings:

1) Preparing the monthly valuations and final accounts against contract terms and conditions including site visits to carry out measurements.

2) Provide estimates for multi discipline work packages provided by customer by arriving at quantities and work content and provide cost estimates based on contract schedule of rates (SOR).

3) Evaluating claims/invoices submitted by sub-contractors, certifying their payments and supplier SOA reconciliations.

4) Liaising and providing commercial/contractual information/awareness to other disciplines (Engineering, Operation, Maintenance, Finance etc) when required.

5) Establishment of star rates where required

6) providing commercial/contractual site info in preparation of Variations to Contract and evaluating price escalations of materials

7) Monitor estimations pre-order vs actual post order for any variations & cost monitoring/controlling for all project related work.

8) Facilitate Inputting payments in Company SAP system that includes creating service entries and technical release.

Qualification

Engineering Degree in Engineering or suitable recognized International equivalent. Preferably in Mechanical or Civil or a QS degree and would be an Associate of the QS Institution of Chartered Surveyors.

Experience

5-10 years post qualification experience in quantity surveying covering multi discipline areas viz., civil, mechanical Piping and flow lines etc in oil and gas engineering, construction and maintenance activities in an EPC / service contract related business, as a contractor.

Preferable industries worked with : Oil and gas industry / Petrochemical with systems like SAP
