Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
The Quantity Surveyor (Mechanical Sand Blasting & Painting) is responsible for quantification, estimation, and cost evaluation related to mechanical surface preparation and coating activities, ensuring alignment with client specifications and industry standards.
Quantity take-off for sandblasting & painting based on drawings, isometrics & site measurements
Evaluation of blasting surface area, coating thickness, paint consumption & production rates
Monitor daily productivity, material usage & schedule progress
Validate subcontractor invoices and progress reports
Coordinate with QA/QC, site execution & planning departments
Maintain accurate documentation for audits, billing & project completion
Desired Candidate Profile
Bachelor s Degree / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
Minimum 5 10 years experience in sandblasting & painting projects (Oil & Gas / Tanks / Pipelines)
Knowledge of SSPC, NACE, or coating industry standards preferred
