Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain computerized quilting machines, ensuring optimal performance and product quality.
- Load and unload fabric, batting, and backing materials onto the quilting machine, adhering to specified patterns and designs.
- Monitor machine operations, promptly addressing any mechanical issues, thread breaks, or fabric misfeeds to minimize downtime.
- Inspect finished quilts for defects such as skipped stitches, puckering, or uneven quilting, taking corrective action as needed.
Desired Candidate Profile
- High school diploma or equivalent is a plus, providing a foundational understanding of basic concepts.
- Prior experience in textile manufacturing or a related field is preferred, demonstrating familiarity with the industry.
- Certification in machine operation or a relevant technical field is advantageous, showcasing specialized skills.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience operating quilting machines is desired, reflecting practical application of knowledge.
