Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct research and development of new resin formulations and optimize existing products to meet market and customer requirements.
  • Design, plan, and execute laboratory experiments for resin synthesis, characterization, and performance evaluation.
  • Analyze and interpret experimental data, prepare technical reports, and present findings to internal teams and stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including production, quality assurance, and technical support to ensure seamless scale-up and commercialization of new products.
  • Maintain accurate laboratory records, ensure compliance with safety protocols, and uphold best practices in chemical handling and waste management.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to resin performance, quality, and application.
  • Support the development and implementation of process improvements to enhance product quality, efficiency, and sustainability.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and regulatory requirements relevant to resin chemistry.
  • Assist in the evaluation and qualification of raw materials and suppliers to ensure consistent product quality.
  • Provide technical support and training to customers and internal teams regarding resin products and applications.

Desired Candidate Profile

Minimum of 5 years and maximum of 7 years of experience in R&D, specifically within resin or polymer laboratories.

  • Faculty of Science, chemical major
  • Willing to work on shift basis
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Commitment to maintaining high standards of safety, quality, and environmental compliance.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and business needs.
