Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- Lead the formulation and development of innovative personal care products, from concept to commercialization, ensuring alignment with market trends and consumer needs.
- Conduct thorough research on raw materials, packaging, and manufacturing processes to optimize product performance, safety, and cost-effectiveness.
- Manage and execute laboratory experiments, pilot plant trials, and scale-up activities, meticulously documenting results and troubleshooting formulation challenges.
- Collaborate closely with marketing, sales, and regulatory teams to translate product concepts into viable and compliant products, including preparing technical documentation.
- Evaluate and select appropriate raw materials and packaging components, considering factors like performance, sustainability, and regulatory compliance.
Desired Candidate Profile
Need Arabic speaker with good english communication skills
Demonstrates in-depth knowledge of cosmetic ingredients, formulation techniques, and regulatory requirements (e.g., FDA, EU regulations).
Experience with a range of personal care product categories, such as skincare, haircare, or color cosmetics, is a plus.
Proficiency in laboratory techniques, including analytical methods (e.g., GC, HPLC), and experience with pilot plant and scale-up processes.
Strong understanding of product stability testing, safety assessments, and efficacy evaluation methods.
Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Familiarity with industry-standard software for formulation, data analysis, and documentation. Experience with SAP or similar ERP systems is a plus.
