Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Monitor monthly closing compliance checklist to ensure compliant closing
  • Complete Monthly recording of transactions for assigned companies in compliance with IFRS, tax law and country specific regulations
  • Prepare and post monthly consolidation and elimination journals for group trial balance
  • Prepare consolidated trial balance for group and its relevant analysis
  • Ensure monthly closing is accurate and done on time
  • Prepare monthly intercompany reconciliations and bank reconciliations
  • Ensure adherence to Finance Shared Services Centre Service Level Agreement (SLA) with entities. Monitor and resolve customer queries/complaints
  • Make accounting records available for review, on a timely basis, by entities, internal auditors, external auditors and other stakeholders, as required
  • Ensure you are always up to date with IFRS, tax laws and country accounting regulations

Desired Candidate Profile

Requirements

  • Bachelor s degree in Finance/Accounting/Commerce
  • 5 years experience in a big four audit firm
  • Additional experience working in the General Ledger function of a Finance Department will be an added advantage
  • Extensive IFRS knowledge
  • Good knowledge of HFM reporting tool (Hyperion Financial Management)
  • Advance MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint skills
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills - Fluent English
