Interventional Radiologist ZULEKHA HOSPITAL LLC

The Interventional Radiologist is responsible for performing minimally invasive, image-guided diagnostic and therapeutic procedures for the treatment of a wide range of medical conditions. The role involves clinical evaluation, procedural planning, execution of interventional procedures, and post-procedure patient management while ensuring patient safety and quality care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform image-guided interventional procedures such as biopsies, drainages, vascular interventions, embolization, angioplasty, stenting, and catheter placements.

• Evaluate patients clinically before procedures and obtain informed consent.

• Interpret diagnostic imaging including CT, MRI, Ultrasound, and Fluoroscopy relevant to interventions.

• Provide pre-procedure, intra-procedure, and post-procedure care and follow-up.

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including surgery, oncology, emergency, and critical care departments.

• Ensure compliance with hospital policies, radiation safety standards, and regulatory requirements.

• Maintain accurate medical documentation and procedural reports.

• Participate in quality improvement, clinical audits, and departmental meetings.

• Support training and education of junior doctors and allied healthcare staff when required.
