About Rak Properties

RAK Properties is a Public Joint Stock Company (PJSC) established in 2005 with the support of the Government of Ras Al Khaimah. The company was founded in alignment with the vision of His Highness Sheikh Saud Bin Saqr Al Qasimi, Crown Prince and Deputy Ruler of Ras Al Khaimah, with the objectives of supporting and promoting the economic growth of Ras Al Khaimah and contributing to the emirate's community development initiatives. RAK Properties undertakes residential and commercial development projects across both the coastal and inland areas of Ras Al Khaimah, with a focus on maximising shareholder value through its development portfolio. The company has a share capital of AED 2 billion, with the Government of Ras Al Khaimah and founding shareholders holding 45 percent and the public holding the remaining 55 percent. The company's IPO in early 2005 was oversubscribed by approximately 57 times.
