Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- Responsible for RAN Planning, Engineering, and Optimization across multi-vendor (Ericsson, Huawei, Nokia), multi-layer, and multi-technology (2G, 3G, 4G, 5G) environments.
- Lead and develop RAN staff through clear direction and performance management, ensuring alignment with divisional and company targets.
- Identify, develop, and present RF optimization methodologies and clarify network strategies to RAN teams.
- Evaluate and adopt new technologies, features, and methods for radio network optimization, including trials and tuning.
- Perform periodic auditing of network parameters to maintain optimal performance and compliance.
- Provide expert recommendations to resolve network issues, VIP complaints, and KPI degradations.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams and contractors to ensure timely project delivery and quality implementation prior to acceptance.
- Mentor junior service engineers through daily on-the-job support and technical presentations.
- Own and manage project-specific optimization KPIs, improvement plans, impact reports, and worst-cell analysis.
- Proficient in radio planning tools including coverage predictions, AFP, ACP, code planning, propagation model tuning, IBS design, and more.
- Promote knowledge sharing by transferring experience and best practices from other networks to local teams.

- Extensive technical experience with demonstrated expertise in RF Planning and Optimization.
- Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication, teamwork, and negotiation skills.
- Strong analytical mindset with an innovative and creative approach to problem-solving.
- Proven ability to mentor and support less experienced staff, effectively sharing knowledge and best practices.
