Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Supervise and coordinate daily operations of the hospital reception area to ensure smooth workflow and exceptional patient service.

  • Lead, train, and mentor reception staff, fostering a positive and collaborative team environment.
  • Monitor and manage patient check-in and check-out processes, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
  • Handle escalated patient inquiries, complaints, and concerns with professionalism and empathy.
  • Maintain and update reception protocols, ensuring compliance with hospital policies and healthcare regulations.
  • Collaborate with medical, administrative, and support teams to optimize patient flow and communication.
  • Oversee scheduling and allocation of reception staff shifts to ensure adequate coverage at all times.
  • Prepare and present regular reports on reception performance, patient feedback, and operational improvements.
  • Ensure the reception area is clean, organized, and welcoming for patients and visitors.
  • Implement and support initiatives to enhance patient satisfaction and streamline front desk operations.

Desired Candidate Profile

Minimum of 2 years experience in a hospital or healthcare reception or front desk environment.

  • Maximum of 5 years relevant experience in a supervisory or team lead role.
  • Proven ability to manage and motivate a team in a fast-paced, high-pressure setting.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills with keen attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, both verbal and written.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving skills and the ability to handle sensitive situations with discretion.
  • Familiarity with hospital management systems and patient scheduling software.
  • Ability to work full-time, on-site, and adapt to flexible scheduling as needed.
  • Commitment to upholding patient confidentiality and ethical standards.
  • Customer service orientation with a passion for helping others.
