Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Responsibilities and activities:

  • Welcome customers with professionalism and courtesy
  • Perform check-in and check-out
  • Manage reservations (phone, e-mail, online platforms)
  • Provide information on the hotel, services and surroundings
  • Process requests, complaints and special situations of customers
  • Ensure invoicing, collection and closing of cash register
  • Coordinate with other departments (floor, maintenance, catering)
  • Ensure the proper maintenance of the reception and compliance with procedures
  • Apply safety and confidentiality rules

Skills required:

  • Sense of welcome and excellent interpersonal skills
  • Good presentation and oral expression
  • Mastery of computer tools and hotel software
  • Organization, rigor and management of priorities
  • Ability to work in a team and under pressure
  • Training in hotel management / tourism or equivalent
  • Experience desired in a similar position
  • Languages:
    • French: mandatory
    • English: mandatory
    • Other languages: an asset
