Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Responsibilities:

  • Greet and welcome students, parents, staff, and visitors with professionalism and warmth.
  • Answer, screen, and direct incoming phone calls promptly and courteously.
  • Manage the front desk area, ensuring it is tidy, organized, and presentable at all times.
  • Handle inquiries and provide accurate information regarding school policies, events, and procedures.
  • Receive, sort, and distribute mail, packages, and deliveries efficiently.
  • Maintain visitor logs and issue visitor badges in accordance with school security protocols.
  • Assist with scheduling appointments and coordinating meetings for staff and administration.
  • Support administrative tasks such as filing, photocopying, and data entry as needed.
  • Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth communication and workflow.
  • Respond to emergencies or urgent situations calmly and effectively, following established procedures.

Desired Candidate Profile

Minimum of 0 to 5 years of experience in a receptionist or administrative support role.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English; additional language skills are a plus.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and office equipment.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Professional appearance and conduct at all times.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and school needs.
