Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome guests as they arrive at the hotel, ensuring a positive first impression.
- Handle guest check-in and check-out procedures efficiently and accurately.
- Respond to guest inquiries, requests, and complaints in a professional and courteous manner.
- Manage room reservations, cancellations, and modifications using the hotel s booking system.
- Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure guest needs are met promptly.
- Maintain a tidy and organized front desk area at all times.
- Process payments, issue invoices, and manage cash or credit transactions securely.
- Provide guests with information about hotel services, amenities, and local attractions.
- Ensure compliance with hotel policies, procedures, and security protocols.
- Assist in administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and handling correspondence.
Desired Candidate Profile
Minimum of 1 year of experience in a receptionist or front desk role, preferably in the hospitality industry.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Professional appearance and demeanor.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Proficiency in using office equipment and hotel management software.
- Customer-focused attitude with a commitment to delivering exceptional service.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in handling guest information and transactions.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
