Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  1. Collection of all supporting documents from branches for unreconciled transaction

  2. Match bank statements with internal ledgers to ensure accuracy of cash balances and Transaction on daily

  3. basis

  4. Ensure strict compliance with systems to avoid recurrence.

  5. Ensure proper co-ordination with the team, inter departments, branches, Partner bank etc for the smooth

  6. processes.

  7. Perform other duties as per the requirement or instructions from the manager.

  8. Day end report for reconciliation performed and get manager approval

  9. Supporting manager on adhoc additional task assigned time to time.

  10. Develop and implement efficient reconciliation processes to enhance accuracy and timeliness.

  11. Identify and resolve variances between bank records and company books promptly

  12. Ensure reconciliations adhere to internal policies, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements.

  13. Provide schedules and documentation for internal and external audits

  14. Verify applied exchange rates against policy (spot, daily, or monthly average rates)

  15. Reconcile each currency individually before converting to base currency to isolate discrepancies

  16. Maintain detailed records of original transaction currency, settlement currency, applied rates, and dates

  17. Investigate unusual or unauthorized transactions to prevent fraud.

  18. Prepare reconciliation summaries for prepaid card balances and usage trends.

  19. Recommend improvements to reconciliation processes and risk mitigation strategies.

  20. Coordinate with Master card ,Mercury to get report and Perform Detailed reconciliation

Desired Candidate Profile

  1. Knowledge of book keeping and accounting.

  2. Excellent computer skills, MS office ,BI

  3. Good analytical and mathematical skills

  4. Meticulous and error free reports

  5. Ability to meet deadlines for report generation
