Key Responsibilities:
- Lead monthly reconciliations of all AP sub-ledgers (vendor statements, inter-company, advances) to the general ledger.
- Investigate and resolve unreconciled or aged balances, coordinating with vendors, internal stakeholders, and CSP as needed.
- Support month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring AP cut-off procedures are adhered to.
- Identify root causes of recurring discrepancies and implement controls or process changes to prevent future issues.
- Champion automation initiatives (e.g., ETB preparation, AI-driven anomaly detection) to streamline reconciliation workflows.
- Maintain and update AP policies, procedures, and job aids to reflect best practices and audit requirements.
- Partner with Purchasing, Treasury, Tax, and Operational teams to validate invoices, payment runs, and withholding tax treatments.
- Serve as the primary escalation point for complex AP queries, facilitating timely resolution through expert guidance.
- Liaise with external auditors during statutory and SOX audits, preparing reconciliations and supporting documentation on request.
- Prepare and present AP KPI dashboards (aging, payment cycle times, dispute rates) to management.
- Perform ad-hoc analyses to support cash flow forecasting, budget vs. actual reviews, and working capital optimization.
- Assist in the development of standardized reporting templates and management packs.
- Mentor and coach junior AP associates, reviewing their reconciliations and guiding them on technical or system-related questions.
- Lead periodic training sessions on AP systems (ERP/SUN) and reconciliation techniques.
- Foster a collaborative, quality-focused team culture in line with PwC s Evolved Professional attributes.
Required Qualifications & Skills:
- Education: Bachelor s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Experience: 3 5 years in Accounts Payable, with at least 1 2 years in a reconciliation or finance-shared services environment.
Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in SAP/SUN or equivalent ERP systems.
- Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, macros).
- Familiarity with automation tools or AI-driven reconciliation platforms is a plus.

- Exceptional attention to detail and analytical mindset.
- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to dig into root causes.
- Effective communicator and collaborator across functions.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
