Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Poolside Service: Monitor pool areas, ensuring cleanliness, safety, and proper functioning of equipment.
- Guest Assistance: Provide excellent customer service by assisting guests with poolside activities, towel service, and any special requests.
- Safety and Compliance: Ensure that all guests follow safety rules and guidelines, including appropriate pool behavior. Respond promptly to any emergencies or incidents.
- Maintenance: Maintain the cleanliness of the pool area, including tidying lounge chairs, removing debris, and ensuring that all amenities (towels, umbrellas, etc.) are available and in good condition.
- Recreation Activities: Assist in organizing and overseeing recreational activities such as water aerobics, games, and other poolside events.
- Equipment Management: Ensure all pool and recreational equipment is in good working order, reporting any damage or maintenance needs to management.
- Guest Engagement: Create a welcoming and engaging atmosphere for guests, ensuring their comfort and satisfaction.
- Inventory Support: Help track and maintain pool and recreation equipment and supplies, ensuring stock levels are sufficient for daily operations.
Desired Candidate Profile
Education: High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications in safety or recreation are a plus.
- Experience: Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in a resort, pool, or recreation setting.
- Key Skills: Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Customer Service: A passion for delivering outstanding service and ensuring guest satisfaction.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as lifting and cleaning.
- Safety Awareness: Basic knowledge of pool safety procedures and emergency response techniques.
