The Recycling Project Supervision Engineer/Specialist is responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and operation of recycling projects, ensuring efficiency, compliance, and sustainability. The role requires a minimum of 15 years of hands-on experience in recycling or waste management projects, with strong expertise in plastic, solid waste, or material recovery systems. Key Responsibilities Supervise the implementation and operation of recycling projects (collection, sorting, processing, and disposal). Monitor daily project activities to ensure alignment with technical standards, environmental regulations, and company objectives. Coordinate with internal teams, contractors, and external stakeholders to ensure Develop and optimize recycling processes to improve efficiency and reduce costs. Oversee site operations including Material Recovery Facilities (MRF), sorting lines, and processing units. Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental (HSE) standards. Review technical designs, layouts, and equipment selection related to recycling operations. Analyze operational data and prepare performance and progress reports. Identify risks, operational issues, and recommend corrective actions. Support budgeting, cost control, and financial planning for the project. Assist in developing strategies for waste collection, logistics, and resource utilization.
