Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
We are seeking an experienced Refractory Specialist to maintain furnace refractory linings and ensure proper heat insulation and thermal efficiency in melting operations.
Key Responsibilities
-
Inspect and maintain refractory lining of furnaces and ladles
-
Supervise refractory installation, gunning, and patch repair work
-
Ensure proper heat insulation and thermal efficiency
-
Monitor refractory wear and schedule maintenance activities
-
Coordinate shutdown and relining activities
-
Ensure safety compliance during refractory work
-
Maintain inspection and maintenance records
-
Guide and supervise refractory technicians and workers

- ITI / Diploma qualification
- Refractory Application Certification (Mandatory)
- Minimum 5 8 years of experience in refractory maintenance
- Experience in furnace and ladle refractory lining

- Supervisory and team handling experience
