HPE's Legal Department applies legal knowledge to complex business transactions. Our mission is to contribute to HPE's success by providing proactive, practical and timely legal advice and contractual support to enable our clients to achieve profitable growth and customer satisfaction. An integral part of HPE, Legal works in areas such as Intellectual Property, Mergers and Acquisitions, Ethics, Antitrust, Commercial Law and Litigation to name but a few.

The suitable candidate will be an experienced commercial lawyer who can negotiate and execute key customer transactions for our expanding IT infrastructure and services business in our Middle East Country Group; the most significant country for HPE in the Country Group being Saudi Arabi.

This role will focus on supporting our Sales Organisation and our Business Unit s (which includes our Compute, HPC & AI, Networking & Hybrid Cloud Services business units) on their most complex and important customer contracts, providing a high quality and efficient service to the business.

The ideal candidate will have excellent commercial legal skills, be a strong communicator, a team player and thrive in a fast-paced environment which focuses on innovation, execution and customers.

The candidate will also be able to cover ad-hoc legal queries and provide succinct advice to the business on contractual disputes as well as be able to deal with a variety of legal issues on corporate transactions, regulatory, IT and technology matters.

About the candidate
Qualified Lawyer.
Minimum 8+ years of professional experience in law (albeit those candidates with less experience but with the right potential will also be considered).
Experience and training with a top tier firm.
Education, training and/or experience from any US and/or UK institutions is an advantage.
Fluent in spoken and written English & Arabic
Experience in commercial transactions.
Experience working in a western based multi-national company is an advantage.

Team
Our Geography Legal team sits across HPE s UKIMEA Geography and this role will report directly to the Senior Director & Associate General Counsel of UKIMEA based in UK.
