UNIT NAME:
Ward 2
PATIENT POPULATION:
Adult Female - High-Risk Antenatal and Obstetrics
HOURS OF OPERATION:
24 hours / 7 days per week
NUMBER OF BEDS:
24+4 Induction beds
OCCUPANCY RATE:
100%
STAFF CATEGORIES:
Registered Nurse

PRIMARY PATIENT DIAGNOSES:
High risk antenatal - above 20 weeks gestation
Fetal (CTG) Monitoring and Interpretation of strips
Induction of labor by Prosin & Misoprostol
Pre and Post operative Care
Diabetic protocol - random blood sugar testing & rupture and membranes
Protocol
IV insertion maintenance, blood and blood product administration
Management of patients pre and post amniocentesis and ordencentesis
Intra Uterine transfusion
PROCEDURES:
. Obstetrics Physical Assessment & Leopold Maneuver
. Fetal (CTG) Monitoring and Interpretation of strips
. Induction of labor by Prostin & Misprostol
. Pre and Post Operative Care
. Diabetic Protocol - random blood sugar testing & PPROM (Rupture of
membranes Protocol)
. IV insertion Maintenance
. IV Therapy, blood and blood product administration
. Management of patient pre and post amniocentesis/cordocentesis/intra
. Uterine transfusion
. Medication Administration
. Pre and Post Op Care of Caesaian Section patients Benefits * Generous Tax-Free Salary. Each case is individually negotiated.
Calculated for years of experience and for postgraduate education.
* One-year renewable contract. If you renew for the second year, you will receive one month's salary as a recontracting bonus.
* Holidays: 61 days paid leave per year. ( Annual leave and public
holidays)
* Return flight to your nearest international airport (Point of Hire) at the beginning and end of the contract.
* Midyear ticket to your point of hire.
