Registered Nurse - ICU

Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to critically ill patients in ICU settings
• Continuously assess, monitor, and document patient conditions, including vital signs and hemodynamic status
• Administer medications, IV therapies, and blood products safely and accurately
• Operate and manage advanced life-support equipment (e.g., ventilators, infusion pumps, cardiac monitors)
• Manage mechanically ventilated patients and titrate critical drips (vasopressors, sedatives, etc.)
• Respond effectively to medical emergencies and code situations
• Assist physicians during procedures and interventions
• Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation and electronic records
• Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, and multidisciplinary teams for care planning
• Provide patient and family education and emotional support
• Ensure adherence to infection control, patient safety, and hospital policies

Clinical Duties

• Perform head-to-toe assessments and reassessments
• Monitor and manage invasive lines (central lines, arterial lines, catheters)
• Interpret cardiac rhythms and critical lab results
• Deliver pre- and post-operative critical care
• Recognize early signs of patient deterioration and escalate appropriately

• Bachelor s Degree in Nursing (BSN)
• Valid nursing license (DOH / HAAD eligibility or license preferred)
• Minimum 2 3 years ICU experience in a tertiary hospital
• Certifications required:
  • BLS (Basic Life Support)
  • ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support)
