Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
As a Registered Nurse, you will play a critical role in the healthcare system, providing essential medical care and support to patients in diverse settings such as hospitals, clinics, and long-term care facilities. You will be responsible for assessing patients' health problems and needs, developing and implementing nursing care plans, and maintaining medical records. Your role requires a strong foundation in clinical skills, excellent communication, and a compassionate approach to patient care. Working collaboratively with physicians and other healthcare professionals, you will ensure the delivery of high-quality, patient-centered care that promotes healing and recovery.
Responsibilities
- Assess and monitor patient conditions, reporting changes to healthcare teams promptly.
- Develop and implement personalized care plans for individual patient needs.
- Administer medications and treatments in accordance with prescribed guidelines.
- Collaborate with physicians and healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care.
- Maintain accurate and comprehensive patient records and medical documentation.
- Educate patients and families about health management and disease prevention.
- Provide emotional support and guidance to patients and their families.
- Ensure compliance with all healthcare regulations, policies, and protocols.
- Monitor patient progress and update treatment plans as necessary.
- Perform clinical assessments and procedures with precision and care.
- Conduct health screenings and diagnostic testing based on medical needs.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care services.
Requirements
- Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the applicable state.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited program preferred.
- Minimum of two years of clinical experience in a healthcare setting.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for patient interactions.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
- Knowledge of medical software and familiarity with electronic health records.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and team-oriented environment.
